CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) fuel injection systems for ICEs applications
Matrix injectors offer excellent performance, reliability and smooth running with both LPG and CNG, and are available in a range of models, flow rates and number of outlet ports, to cover the widest possible range of engine displacements on the market today.
MATRIX Automotive Division product line focuses on low environmental impact mobility solutions developed for multi-point alternative fuel injection applications (CNG, LPG, LNG, hydrogen or blends) and features injectors, multi-injectors, injection rails and pressure regulators (PCD) for internal combustion engines (ICE). The effective combination of proven technology, precise metering and unmatched dynamic and durability characteristics meets the highest performance standards and the most stringent anti-pollution regulations for motorcycles, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles or commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. Reduced environmental impact, energy efficiency, operating economy and significant eco-sustainability are among the advantages offered by this technology.

Technological advantage
Frequency
The maximum operating frequency of MATRIX injectors expresses the highest levels of performance and the wide range of applications that this technology has to offer. This means extreme reliability, combined with new and innovative application possibilities in the field of alternative gaseous fuel injection.
Repeatability and precision
The high degree of precision and repeatability ensured by MATRIX injectors is characterized by response time fluctuations lower than measurable levels. These values, thanks to the friction-free operation, based on ZIF technology (Zero Internal Friction), remain unchanged in all environmental conditions foreseen by the product specifications.
Response times
The extremely low value of 0.5 ms (500 microseconds) is the norm for MATRIX injectors, regardless of configuration or flow rate. This ensures high-quality performance and a significant simplification of the management software, which does not require corrections throughout the entire power curve.
Low energy consumption
The innovative technology that characterizes the MATRIX injectors allows for significant energy savings during the operating phases. Typical current values during the maintenance phases are 0.5 Ampere (1.25 Watt) in the HD models and 0.6 Ampere (1.44 Watt) in the HS models.
High linearity and New applications
The remarkable reactivity of injection timing typical of MATRIX injectors guarantees an improvement of the engine output linearity, currently not available with any other injector or technology. For this reason, MATRIX injectors have been chosen for the development and implementation of new and innovative alternative fuel injection strategies in gasoline and diesel engine applications such as micro-injections and multi-injections, focused on performance improvement both in terms of fuel consumption and emissions reduction.
